NAPOP delivers useable net zero grid independency and supporting services supported by our subsidiary companies.

DRIV hydrogen is a  service and support resource for transiting from fossil fuels to sustainable grid-independent net zero energy carriers focussing on:

  • Biomethanol

  • Hydrogen

Through our portfolio companies VIRIDIH2, and PISCI - we deliver practical circular solutions by integrating renewable local energy production and energy storage with smart grid interfacing and energy demanding production:

  • Electrolysis producing commercial hydrogen/ oxygen and heat.

  • Landbased aquaculture – advancing oxygen and heat from electrolysis in the production of food.

DRIV hydrogen

A NAPOP subsidiary established in 2025 in partnership with DRIV energi with focus on producing and distributing sustainable bio-hydrogen from biomethanol, using mobile units for localised production to solve energy infrastructure challenges for construction, industry, and logistics sectors in Norway, aiming to improve hydrogen availability and key in the transition to a low carbon society.

  • Local hydrogen production from reformation of biomethanol using mobile reformation units.

Hydrogen produced and delivered at site directly for any hydrogen requirements.

  • Zero emission/ net zero distribution of biomethanol and hydrogen.

  • Hydrogen transport modules (MEGCs) and supply (pressure management) systems.

  • Biomethanol storage and containment .

Provide new fuels at your doorstep.

Hydrogen workshop providing services to the hydrogen industry. Our facilities are established in the greater Oslo region and offers:

  • Heated ATEX  workshop for e.g. warm flushing of hydrogen tanks/ MEGC’s.

  • Hydrogen production (from biomethanol).

Our site also offers testing/ demonstration infrastructure.

VIRIDIH2

VIRIDIH2 is a fully owned NAPOP subsidiary established to build and operate smart electrolysis plants including power and storage interfaces allowing exceptional grid flexibility. The solutions comprises:

Sustainable renewable power:

  • Solar

  • Hydro

  • Wind

Energy storage and intelligent grid interfaces:

  • Industrial batteries

  • Hydrogen reservoirs

  • Flexible grid interaction

Electrolysis:

  • Hydrogen production

  • Oxygen production

  • Commercial-grade hydronic heat

PISCI

PISCI  is a fully owned NAPOP subsidiary established to build and operate smart Landbased Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (LRAS).

While high oxygen requirements have traditionally restricted LRAS prevalence, NAPOP’s ISI-P concept utilizes onsite electrolysis to provide a continuous oxygen supply. This synergy optimizes production costs and ensures a circular approach to hydrogen and fish farming.
